• “The better the picture, the better the artwork”.

• *Please do not send photos taken with a phone camera*

• My portraits are very detailed and realistic and alive. I am only able to do this because my reference photos are clear and high in resolution. I can guarantee that you will like my artwork, but I do require the best quality photo you can get. Sometimes, photos taken with a phone camera (even the most expensive smartphones) are not clear enough. Enlarging or zooming in to these photos just make them pixelated. I need to be able to clearly see details of the eyes (eyebrows/lashes/eye color), hair strands, lips, the actual skin tone, etc. Please, remember that this is a piece of art that you will treasure forever. The better the quality of the photo, the better the artwork.

• Send me your uncropped highest resolution photos for review. A good photo has good lighting, contrast, coloring and resolution. Facial details should be clearly visible. The more detail I can see, the more detail you will see in your artwork. I prefer clear, close-up pictures of the subject. I suggest scanning hard copies at a minimum of 300dpi.

• Please send your photo to me via email ([email protected]). You can send me more than one photo for reference.

• I have the right to decline a photo/commission.

• If you are sending me a photo taken by a professional photographer, please get their permission to use their photos.
